Snowmobile in Penobscot
Wallamatogas Mountain Area
Trails on this property and in this areas have now been purchased and are private
property of Blue Hill Herritage Trust. These are not maintained trails ! Because of
their " NO ATV's" allowed policy, these trails are no longer maintained by local riders
who have used and taken care of them for the local community for Atv's , sledding,
hiking, and cross country skiing at no expense for many many years.
These trails are not recommended for the bigger sleds. Trails are rocky, tight areas which are
narrow and seldom groomed . Sled damage or scratches may result at high speeds due to trail
conditions. This is true back woods trail riding. Hikers and Cross Country Skiers use the
Penobscot Trails heavily,,,,,,,,,,,, Share The Trails,,,,,, Ride with Caution !!
